Ratification!

We are pleased to report that on September 3rd, 2025, our members working for Agrifoods International in Saskatoon and Regina, voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new three-year agreement!

Highlights of this new agreement include wage increases totaling 9% over the term, a retention bonus, benefit improvements and positive language changes!

Congratulations to Business Agent and Lead Negotiator Mike Hitchins, President Dave Phipps and their entire bargaining committee on a job well done!

Due to a recent organizing victory, we’ve had a large group of employees ask us to post some information about our Local Union on our page. These workers have been cautiously watching recent events and have now come forward wanting to join the Saskatchewan Teamsters!

Our Head Office is in Saskatoon, with agents servicing members in Northern Saskatchewan, while our sub-office is located in Regina, which is staffed with an agent servicing the membership in Southern Saskatchewan.

We represent members in various industries such as Pipeline/Construction, Trucking, Courier, Aviation, Dairy, Waste, Animal Humane, Trades, Warehouse, Ready-Mix, Bus Driving, School Bus Driving and more!

We are pleased to announce a newly ratified FIRST agreement with the employees of Palms Prints Custom Apparel!

This new bargaining unit is located in Warman, Saskatchewan, and produces high quality custom printed clothing!

We are excited to report that the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board tabulated votes on September 5th, 2025, and the employees working for GFL Solid Waste in North Saskatchewan voted overwhelmingly in favour of Teamster representation!

Local 395 now represents all GFL Solid Waste employees in Saskatchewan!

Our Regina office and hall has moved to our new address at 1661 Part Street in Regina!

We ask for your patience as we conduct our move. Our phone number and fax number remain the same, and our Business Agent, Richard Rose, is still based out of that office to service the needs of our members in Southern Saskatchewan as well as our pipeline and construction members!

Ratification!

After two rejected offers and conciliation bargaining, we are pleased to report that our membership working for GFL Solid Waste in Regina and Moose Jaw have voted 85% in favour of a new five-year agreement.

Highlights of this agreement include a retroactive wage increase to January 1st, 2025, and increases again in every subsequent year totaling 12% over the term, employer pension contribution increases, positive language changes and the introduction of floater days which maintained 10 days of paid leave!

Congratulations to Business Agent Richard Rose, Secretary-Treasurer Joshua Cenaiko and the entire membership on a job well done on a tough round of negotiations!

We are pleased to report that after a vote tabulation by the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board, we now represent employees working for Palms Prints Custom Apparel in Warman, Saskatchewan! We are looking forward to representing local workers making Made-In Saskatchewan and Made-In Canada clothing!

After another lengthy process, we are pleased to report our members working for Heidelberg Materials in Moose Jaw have voted 100% in favour of a new four-year agreement!

Highlights of the new agreement include wage increases totaling 14% over the term, with a significant portion paid retroactively back to January 1st, 2023, increases to employer pension contributions, an increase to safety clothing allowance, and other language improvements!
